It is so amazing what technology can do. Kathy Beitz has been legally blind since she was 11 years old. She has a genetic form of macular degeneration, so I would think that these glasses would enable seniors who suffer from this to be able to see again.
They didn’t go into detail as to how much light and shadow she sees, but they did say it was the first baby she has seen. What an amazing gift to be able to see her son in detail.
