Be Kind

If we could show each other the same compassion and care as people showed for these feathered friends the world would be a happier place.

Breath in the Love

This is the song that I had created for LemonadeMakers. I really like how it turned out. Please share if you feel so inclined. We would love to have the song spread all over the world as it personafies who a LemonadeMaker is.

Bullying

Bullying is never right or funny. I love her responses. She has quite a story to tell about her life. I would love to meet her as she seems to be an amazing woman. I only hope that I could respond like her if this was ever done to me.

A comedian went on TV and viciously insulted a fellow comedian. Here’s her eloquent response.

Simple Acts of Kindness

Great video and great song and lyrics.
Simple acts of kindness are what we used to call being neighborly and somehow we lost that back in the 60’s to 70’s. It is something simple we can bring back into our lives by just noticing other people and what they may be going through. It doesn’t take much to give up a seat on the bus or let the mother dealing with toddlers have the closer parking space.https://www.facebook.com/libertatearo/videos/10152071153411204/?pnref=story

Unconditional Love

Unconditional love is something that we can all give to our children (& the other significant people in our lives): Praise them by giving a compliment for any achievements (find something everyday); Encourage them by expressing belief in their abilities & potential; Support them by showing that you are on their side by being present, listening & expressing compassion when they have a bad day; Feedback by helping them to see another perspective on something that they didn’t see.

Boxes

This is so funny. Al and I were actually discussing the “nothing box” this past weekend, only I didn’t know it had a name. It is all about how men can think about nothing and still manage to breathe!

Discernment

Discernment is a word that we should pay more attention to. We all say we don’t have time. Discernment will free us up from being “busy”, to spend time on the important things. Is it more important to watch that TV or spend time with our children one on one; finishing that project that you are going to get to tomorrow; calling your parents just to say I love you; spending some cuddle time with that significant other?
