Rainbow

“To wish you were someone else is to waste the person you are.”

We are each given our own gifts to spread out into the world and the world will be lessened if we don’t use them by trying to be someone else. It would be like one of the colors of the rainbow missing – it is still pretty, but with the additional colors it is magnificent.

Excellence

“The first time you accept ‘good’ is the last time you will see excellence.” – John Ulmo

Don’t settle for good enough. Go for excellence, and wow factors, and woot woots! and miracles and…you get the picture – trust your wings and fly!

Example

“If you can’t be a good example, then you’ll just have to be a terrible
warning.”—Catherine Aird

Knocking

“I knocked and the door opened. But I found that I had been knocking from the
inside and I could’ve opened the door for myself.” – Tehuti
I haven’t posted in awhile and read this and just had to post it. I have been really busy, but I think that it is funny how much emphasis we put on making things more difficult that they truly are.

Judgement

“I will smile at friend & foe alike & make every effort to find, in him or her, a quality to praise, now that I realize the deepest yearning of human nature is the craving to be appreciated.” – Og Mandino
It is more us making a judgment, than someone actually being rude or unkind. When you smile it takes them out of their internal judgment for a moment & that is a great gift.

Experience

Are you waiting for ideas to land in your lap, or are you working to expand your skills and following the lead of intuition down the side paths to understand what you need to know for your future? The Wright Bros spent years in fabrication and fine control mechanics before they flew the 1st plane. Without that experience, they couldn’t have hoped to invent the 3-axis control system
that we continue to use in planes today.

Bad Experiences

“Pain only exists in resistance. Joy exists only in acceptance. Painful situations which you heartily accept become joyful. Joyful situations which you do not accept become painful. There is no such thing as a bad experience. Bad
experiences are simply the creations of your resistance to what
is.” – Rumi

Acceptance

“Acceptance heals hurt. It heals the resistance that causes or exacerbates the pain. When you accept, it allows you to move forward in the flow, because what you accept, you naturally let go of.”  – Chuck Spezzano

Accept whatever comes into your life came for a reason, look for the lesson and let go. This allows you to stay in the flow, growing and becoming the greatness that you are destined to be.

Interactions

“Be careful what you spend your day touching because it will shape your mind, your body, and your heart.” – Sam Keen

From the thinking that you are what you eat, you are also what you read, watch and listen to. All of the many experiences each day shape who you are. Keep your interactions healthy for the mind, body, and soul.

Celebrate

If we value ourselves then we need to stop tolerating the things and people that don’t work for us. In order to thrive we need to move out of tolerating our life and into celebrating it. Does your home and work environment inspire you? Are you spending time with people and work that you love? Do they support and inspire you? If not take action & eliminate what you are tolerating. Step into greatness & start celebrating.

New Action

To be different, do different. Growth & change happen when we do things we’ve never done before, there’s an instant internal shift. Expectations, emotions, attitudes & beliefs (about what’s possible for us) change. The internal shift is simply a by-product of a new experience. Of doing something we’ve never done before. Here’s to taking a new action!

Persistence

“As long as we are persistent in our pursuit of our deepest destiny, we will
continue to grow. We cannot choose the day or time when we will fully bloom. It
happens in its own time.” – Denis Waitley.

Keep moving to your dreams and in the right time, it happens. Sometimes it is only inch by inch but when you least expect it, you bound forward. Don’t quit when you are inching as around the corner you’ll take flight!
